Job summary

TJ Maxx, a part of The TJX Companies, Inc., invites experienced retail leaders to join our team in Billings, MT. This role focuses on delivering an outstanding customer experience, supervising front-of-store associates, and promoting loyalty programs.

You will train colleagues, schedule coverage, manage POS operations, and collaborate with management to achieve store goals while ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience
• Available to work flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
• Strong understanding of merchandising techniques
• Capable of multi-tasking
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
• Able to train others

Responsibilities

• Promotes an excellent customer experience and leads by example on front-end principles
• Trains and coaches Associates on personalizing the customer experience and loyalty programs
• Assigns registers, supports POS coverage, and coordinates breaks
• Addresses customer concerns promptly and maintains a positive experience
• Ensures tasks align with store plan and priorities
• Communicates priorities and progress with management and Associates
• Promotes safety, labor laws, and credit/loyalty programs
• Supports shrink reduction goals and other duties as assigned
