Five Below is seeking a motivated Store Manager to oversee daily operations, lead a team of associates, and deliver WOW customer service in a fast-paced discount retail environment where energy, creativity, and guest satisfaction matter.

You will train crew on best practices, manage opening and closing, coordinate merchandising, and drive sales while controlling costs, maintaining a safe, welcoming store, and ensuring accurate cash handling and inventory procedures; flexible hours include days,

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are WOWing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring that each guest has a fast, friendly checkout experience.
• Oversees the daily activities of store associates, ensuring they perform duties effectively and provide excellent customer service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, taking responsibility for store operations, staff management, and customer service.
• Manages opening/closing, including cash handling, locks, alarms, and daily operations.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and service.
• Partners with store leadership on merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Performs store maintenance tasks.
