Job summary

Five Below is hiring for a store leadership role in Los Angeles. You will oversee daily activities, train crew, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout. You’ll also manage opening/closing, on-the-job coaching, and merchandising processes to boost sales while controlling costs.

The role requires at least 1 year of management experience, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic retail environment. This is an hourly position with potential for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers and trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates, ensuring performance and service quality.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for fast on-shelf placement.
• Act as Manager on Duty, handling store operations, staff management, and urgent issues.
• Open or close the store, secure cash, lock doors, set alarms, and prepare for daily operation.
• Support onboarding and training of associates on store policies and procedures.
• Drive store sales and manage expenses by optimizing merchandising and staff performance.
• Partner with store leadership on merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Perform maintenance such as cleaning, stocking, and janitorial tasks.
