Responsibilities include operating the POS system, handling cash and other tenders, and following company policies for discounts, promos, and restricted items while delivering friendly, efficient service to every customer.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage, and assist customers.
• Process customer transactions at the check lane quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Understand the POS system and handle tenders per policy (cash, checks, credit, debit, coupons).
• Adhere to cash handling limits and loss prevention guidelines.
• Follow policies for restricted sale items (alcohol, tobacco, DVDs).
• Maintain clean, safe store environment and report issues to management.
• Answer questions and assist customers with products throughout the store.
