Job summary

Michaels Stores in Plymouth Meeting, PA is seeking a friendly Store Associate to help customers locate products, provide solutions, and ensure a fast, welcoming checkout experience.

You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, planograms, and merchandise recovery, while engaging customers in Rewards programs and enabling Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store services.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting, and a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including the merchandise return / go back process
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; promote positive image and be a role model
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
• Other duties as assigned
