Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months cashier experience for Customer Service Desk.
• Must be 18+ (19+ in some states if tobacco is sold).
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work weekends and overtime as needed.
• Ability to organize/prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and process sales.
• Perform cashier transactions; open/close register and complete tender transactions.
• Maintain checkstand area and price discrepancy logs.
• Answer telephones and maintain desk operations.
• Provide lottery service and licenses where applicable.
• Take part in loss prevention and EAS tag verification at checkout.
• Open/close the Customer Service Desk and handle refunds/exchanges.
• Run vendor reports and support store accounting functions.
