The Kroger Co. in Coos Bay, OR is seeking a friendly cashier/checker to greet customers, process transactions quickly and accurately, and maintain a clean, inviting checkout area.

You will work with POS systems, handle cash, credit, SNAP, loyalty offers and coupons, follow loss-prevention guidelines, and support store operations while upholding safety and customer service standards.

Prior experience as a bagger or courtesy clerk is a plus.

Qualificações

• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Prior experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Greet, engage and assist customers at the checkout.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Understand the POS system and handle cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, and coupons per policy.
• Follow loss-prevention guidelines including cash handling and security.
• Adhere to guidelines for restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs) and safety procedures.
• Provide information about products and create a welcoming environment for customers.
