You will operate the POS system, handle various payment methods, and follow store policies while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all customers.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with questions at the checkout.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Operate the POS system and handle cash, checks, and card payments.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and controls to prevent loss.
• Ensure compliance with guidelines on restricted items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Notify management of pricing discrepancies or issues with checkout.
• Follow store policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons as applicable.
• Maintain a clean and safe checkout area and respond to safety issues.
