Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage and assist customers at the check lane.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Understand POS system and handle tenders (cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, Rain checks, coupons).
• Adhere to cash handling limits and loss-prevention guidelines.
• Follow policies for restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Maintain safety and cleanliness throughout the store and department.
