Kroger is seeking a friendly Cashier/Checker to greet customers, assist with questions, and help create an outstanding shopping experience. You will operate the POS, process transactions quickly and accurately, and support department goals.

This role requires adherence to safety, cash-handling policies, and attention to loss prevention. You will work in a fast-paced environment, follow store guidelines, and help ensure a clean, welcoming store for every guest.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Prior experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk.

Responsabilités

• Greet, engage and assist customers at the check lane.
• Process transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Understand POS system and handle tenders per policy (Cash, Checks, Credit, Debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons).
• Adhere to cash handling, loss prevention, and restricted item guidelines (Alcohol, Tobacco).
