Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Texas to serve as a frontline brand ambassador across its Check N Go, Allied Cash Advance, and Cash Store brands.

The role focuses on outstanding customer service, regulatory excellence, and operational support within the district. The position requires strong communication, cash handling skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience; 1+ year of experience with sales, customer service, and/or cash handling preferred.
• Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in an autonomous environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve and educate customers on the product portfolio by presenting all options for products and services to meet their needs.
• Escalate issues to the store manager, District Director of Operations (DDO), and corporate office if unable to resolve the issue.
• Answer telephone inquiries in response to general questions, customer applications, requests, or other issues.
• Perform outbound customer sales, courtesy, and collection calls in accordance with federal regulations and company procedures.
• Respond professionally and accurately to customers, explaining possible solutions and ensuring the customer feels supported and valued.
• Interact with customers, using active listening skills, to confirm or clarify information and diffuse customer complaints.
• Handle and count currency, cash, and coins, manage a cash drawer, and may be responsible for deposits or pickups.
• Balance batch receipts with store sales reports and assist with resolving over/short discrepancies.
