Job summary

Responsibilities

• Adhere to customer service standards and provide a differentiated experience by understanding customer needs.
• Educate customers through shoulder-to-shoulder digital demonstrations; identify self-service opportunities.
• Engage in lobby management, greet customers and address immediate needs.
• Balance and process customer transactions accurately following Bank Policy.
• Take ownership of escalated account service issues until resolution and log complaints in the system.
• Transition identified sales opportunities and introduce to banking partner.
• Perform branch operations like cash ordering, vault, ATM, and wire transfers.
• Process customer/account maintenance tasks and AML/KYC related activities.
• Adhere to compliance and risk controls per policy and regulators.
• Promote M&T Bank brand and a belonging-focused environment.
• Maintain internal controls and support audits and regulator points.
