Job summary

Seacoast Bank in St. Petersburg, FL is seeking a customer-focused teller to join our Retail & Community Banking team. You will handle everyday transactions, deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing, while delivering accurate and friendly service to each client.

This on-site role requires a High School diploma, cash handling experience, and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends. You will build relationships, identify referral opportunities, and adhere to all AML/BSA and security

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 12 months cash handling experience required.
• Minimum of 12 months previous experience in retail sales and/or financial services experience preferred.
• Flexible schedule required with ability to work during hours of operations, including weekends.
• Demonstrate excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and exercise a high degree of initiative.
• PC proficiency in desktop, laptop, tablet, and smartphone devices as well as Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Process checks, cash and the sale of negotiable instrument transactions adhering to the bank's current policies and procedures.
• Ensure branch adherence to AML/BSA requirements and other regulated procedures to protect associates and customers.
• Proactively resolve customer concerns in a timely, professional manner and escalate as needed.
• Balance cash drawer daily and monitor own work for accuracy.
• Follow management direction to resolve objections and maintain customer relationships.
• Adhere to Seacoast Bank’s Code of Conduct and safety procedures.
• Oversee day-to-day branch operations (vault and ATM duties) and maintain audit/compliance documentation.
