AAFES is seeking a Customer Experience Associate to support retail operations on base. You will greet customers, handle transactions, and engage shoppers to ensure a friendly, efficient checkout experience.

Responsibilities include assisting with bagging, moving items, and maintaining high service levels while leveraging basic computer skills and cash handling experience. Base access and a team-oriented environment are emphasized.

• Completion of high school or the equivalent is required.
• Retail experience is preferred and demonstrates willingness for additional responsibilities.
• Excellent communication skills and a welcoming attitude are essential.
• Cash handling experience is preferred and useful for transactions.
• Basic computer skills are expected for daily tasks.

As a Customer Experience Associate at the Exchange, you will be a part of an award winning team. • Acknowledge every waiting customer as soon as they arrive to your lane to let them know you’ll be right with them

• Help customers by following the proper procedure for bagging merchandise and moving large or heavy items

Job Qualifications

Completion of high school or the equivalent. Retail experience, demonstrated willingness, and potential for additional responsibility.

Additional Qualifications/Requirements

FACILITY HAS SNACK AVENUE--WILL ASSIST WITH MAINTAINING AREA INCLUDING CLEANING/SANITIZING ROLLER GRILL COFFEE MAKERS ETC. LABOR INTENSIVE POSITION.WILL BE SCHEDULED TO WORK (0530-1030/1100-1600) MONDAY-TO FRIDAY. MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK BOTH SHIFTS. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY, RELIABLE, TEAM PLAY, RESULTS ORIENTED, CUSTOMER SERVICE AND BE A QUICK THINKER. SHIFT IS MOSTLY STANDING ON HARD SURFACES AND REQUIRE FREQUENT BENDING STOOPING AND LIFTING. FAST PACED FACILITY. ACTIVELY PROMOTES CORPORATE PROGRAMS OPERATE A CASH REGISTER AND OTHER RETAIL AND FOOD EQUIPMENT
