Job summary

The Army & Air Force Exchange Service (Exchange) is seeking a Customer Experience Associate to greet customers, assist with transactions, and maintain a welcoming store environment. This role emphasizes proactive customer service, accurate cash handling, and efficient checkout processes.

Some positions offer limited hours to support troop movements, weekend/on-call availability, and access to military installations.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school or the equivalent.
• Retail experience, willingness, and potential for additional responsibility.
• If a sufficient number of qualified candidates do not apply, the minimum qualifications may be lowered without reposting.

Job Qualifications

Additional Qualifications/Requirements

• Position will offer limited hours to support troop movements and when needed. Estimated 0-15 per week.
• Required: Weekend and On Call Availability
• Required: Access to themilitary installation (Real ID*,Passport, Military ID,CAC ID,etc.)
  • *Federal agencies will not accept a driver's license or identification card for official purposes from any individual unless such license or card is a REAL ID - compliant driver's license or identification card issued by a state.

• Able to learn and adapt to current technology needs
• Able to think quickly on the spot to answer customer questions
• Able to lift 20 pounds
• Willing to cross-train and work in other areas of the store, as needed
• Must possess a welcoming and helpful attitude toward customers and other team members
• Cash handling experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills
