Job summary

Michaels Yonkers is hiring a Store Team Member to deliver friendly customer service in a busy retail environment. You will help customers locate products, assist with purchases, and ensure a fast checkout experience with accurate cash handling.

Beyond transactions, you will participate in truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining planograms, while supporting omni-channel processes like BOPIS and SFS. Join us in keeping our store welcoming and in‑stock.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Experience handling cash and operating checkout standards.
• Ability to engage customers in rewards programs and enroll them.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Educate customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Maintain well-merchandised, in-stock store through merchandise recovery and returns.
