Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers, handle sales at the register, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

You should be able to lift 30–50 lbs, follow instructions, and provide excellent service in a fast-paced environment. Part-time position with opportunities to grow within the team and store network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in customer service in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise as needed.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep the store clean, including bathrooms and floors, and ensure areas are neat.
