Job summary

Family Dollar LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers with questions, manage transactions at the register, stock shelves, and keep the store clean and welcoming.

The role requires excellent communication, strong organizational skills, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. Prior retail or service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Retail/hospitality/food service experience preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and read documents
• Must lift 30–50 lbs and perform standing/walking tasks
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading when needed
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and team members
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including restrooms and floors
• Other duties as assigned
