Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. The role involves helping customers, processing transactions, stocking merchandise, and maintaining a clean store environment.

The position is part-time and requires the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, stand, walk, and follow operating procedures. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery or drug store is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operating documents.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand/walk frequently.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Stock and recover merchandise and keep the store stocked.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
