Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking a friendly, customer-focused team member in Mission Viejo, CA to assist customers, process transactions, support order pickup, and resolve returns on the sales floor.

You will train new hires on the register, collaborate with teammates, and contribute to a positive, fast-paced store environment while protecting customer privacy and promoting Nordstrom Loyalty.

Qualifications

• Excellent relationship-building with customers, peers, and leaders.
• Proficiency with MS Windows, iOS and Android.
• Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to train and deliver POS/register training for onboarding.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong ownership, accountability, and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Deliver seamless, friendly service by understanding customer needs and owning interactions from start to finish.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns with empathy and sound judgment.
• Accurately process transactions and ticketing using POS and store systems.
• Build relationships with teammates and contribute to a positive, team-focused environment.
• Protect the security and privacy of customer information through education, compliance and resolution.
• Promote Nordstrom Loyalty and new tools, software, and services to enhance the customer and employee experience.
