Job summary

Dollar Tree in Southport, NC is hiring a Part-time Customer Service Associate. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, and help keep the store clean and organized.

You'll unload merchandise, stock shelves, and maintain a safe, friendly shopping environment while delivering great service. Previous retail experience is preferred; you should be able to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, bending.
• Excellent customer service and relationship skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect assets
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks
• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
