Job summary

Dollar Tree in Morganton, NC is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a friendly shopping experience. You will help customers, process transactions at the register, and keep the store clean and well-stocked.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, prior retail or customer service experience, and the ability to lift 30-50 lbs and handle physical tasks. You will work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professional, positive interactions with customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and meet demands of frequent movement and manual tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and team members.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
• Other duties as assigned.
