Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Ohio LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience in a part-time role at our Cleveland-area store. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and help with stocking and merchandising while maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior retail or customer service experience. You will be required to lift 30–50 lbs and stay active throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform extensive walking/standing.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep store clean, restrooms stocked, and areas neat and presentable.
• Other duties as assigned.
