Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Norwood, MA is hiring a Customer Service Associate to deliver a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle sales transactions at the register, stock shelves, unload trucks, and keep the store clean and organized.

This part-time position requires the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, strong customer service, and good communication. Prior retail or service experience is highly valued, and you will work with a team to maintain a safe, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including bathrooms and floors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
