Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a welcoming shopping experience for every customer. You will assist with questions, manage transactions at the register, and maintain store cleanliness and stock.

The role emphasizes safety, professionalism, and friendly interactions with customers and team members. Prior retail or service experience is preferred, with a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, bending and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
