Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and help maintain a clean, well-stocked store.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, teamwork, and following store procedures. Previous retail or service industry experience is preferred, and lifting up to 50 lbs is required in this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain store security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including bathrooms.
• Support other duties as assigned.
