Job summary

Cloudflare, a leader in internet infrastructure, is seeking a Manager, Customer Engineering in Sydney, Australia. You will enable the CE team, coach engineers, and partner with sales to drive revenue while ensuring scalable technical solutions for customers.

You will shadow and elevate your team’s skills, balance workloads, recruit and onboard new hires, and collaborate with product, engineering, and support to deliver customer success across the ANZ region.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience as a Manager in a pre-sales team.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Experience solving escalations and team issues.
• Proven ability to hit PoC close-win rate targets and sales quotas.
• Strong understanding of the ANZ market.

Responsibilities

• Workload management for the CE team.
• Conduct 1:1s with team members and provide feedback.
• Act as escalation point for team issues and upscale as needed.
• Recruit, interview and onboard new team members.
• Report on individual CE strengths and development needs; maintain key customer relationships.
