Job summary

OceanFirst Bank is seeking a friendly Teller for our Wall, NJ branch. You will accurately process transactions and deliver personalized service, guiding customers to the right solutions and maintaining branch efficiency.

You will balance cash drawers, handle deposits and withdrawals, and refer customers to Personal Bankers for specialized services. A 2-week training program is provided to get you up to speed.

Qualifications

• Excellent service, interpersonal and communication skills with a courteous and professional demeanor.
• Ability to cross-sell Bank products and services.
• Detail oriented and highly accurate with multi-tasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and process transactions accurately to meet standards.
• Refer customers to Personal Bankers for specialized services.
• Balance and prove work daily and secure receipts and records.
• Handle deposits, withdrawals, cash checks, and loan payments.
• Issue money orders and bank checks and process club accounts.
• Identify and refer potential Nest clients to appropriate sources.
• Support outbound calling and promote digital banking channels.
• Process incoming mail transactions and respond to inquiries.
