OceanFirst Bank is seeking a Teller for our Wall, NJ branch. You will accurately process transactions with a focus on personalized service, refer customers to Personal Bankers for specialized services, and contribute to branch growth and retention by meeting sales and service goals.

Responsibilities include cash handling, balancing cash drawers, handling deposits, withdrawals, and payments, and promoting digital banking adoption. Training is provided to all retail staff.

• Greets customers and processes transactions with accuracy and professionalism.
• Refer customers to Personal Bankers for specialized services.
• Balance and prove work daily, manage cash drawers, night deposit, vault and ATM transactions.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and other receivables.
• Issue money orders and bank checks.
• Refer potential Nest clients to appropriate sources.
• Encourage customers to use digital channels and migrate them from branch to online.
