OceanFirst Bank's Avenue J branch is seeking a Personal Banker to deliver personalized service and drive sales growth. You will undergo a two-week training upon hire and contribute to customer retention and branch profitability.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing routine financial transactions, and promoting banking products while maintaining high service quality. The role requires flexible scheduling and a commitment to corporate training and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of direct customer service experience with cash handling preferred.
• Prior sales experience in retail banking is preferred.
• Must be able to work flexible schedules.
• Familiarity with bank products, services, and standard software or ability to be trained.

Responsabilités

• Greet customers and assist with product selection using consultative selling.
• Balance cash drawer and handle daily teller duties to meet performance standards.
• Proactively promote Bank, Wealth, and digital product offerings to clients.
• Meet or exceed sales and referral goals for Bank, NEST, and digital channels.
• Provide notary services if licensed and maintain accurate records.
