Job summary

Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. in Madison, WI, seeks a Customer Quotation Specialist to support the sales team by processing inbound quote requests and ensuring all required information is collected to generate accurate, timely quotes.

You will serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries and collaborate with sales, estimators, production, and other departments to gather pricing, lead times, and documentation. Flexible hybrid scheduling is available.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in customer service.
• Manufacturing environment or quoting experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming quote requests promptly and accurately.
• Works with customers and/or internal teams to resolve issues with missing and/or incorrect information.
• Collaborates with sales, estimators, production, and other internal teams to gather pricing, lead times, and other relevant details needed to prepare accurate quotes.
• Supports new product launch activities including part number creation, entering and invoicing tooling purchase orders, and entering PPAP and special purchase orders.
• Maintains accurate records of all quote requests, updates, and communications in the company's quoting system.
• Conducts mass price updates and maintains customer scorecards.
• Coordinates with internal departments to resolve customer issues and ensures prompt resolution of customer issues.
