Job summary

MEC (Mayville Engineering Company, Inc.) is seeking a Customer Quote Coordinator to support the sales team by processing incoming quote requests and ensuring complete information for accurate, timely quotes. You will be the primary contact for customer inquiries, delivering a positive experience.

The role requires strong communication, CRM/quoting software proficiency, and the ability to work across sales, estimators, and production in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in customer service.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree is preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment and/or quoting is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency with CRM and quoting software, and standard office tools.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming quote requests promptly and accurately, ensuring all necessary information is obtained.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve issues with missing or incorrect information.
• Gather pricing, lead times, and other details from sales, estimators, production, and other departments to prepare accurate quotes.
• Support new product launches including part number creation, invoicing tooling purchase orders, and entering PPAP and special purchase orders.
• Maintain accurate records of all quote requests and communications in the quoting system.
• Perform mass price updates and maintain customer scorecards.
• Coordinate with internal departments to promptly resolve customer issues.
