Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH Company, seeks a Project Lead located at our Littleton, CO plant. You will be the voice of the customer, coordinating from sale through on-site delivery and ensuring 100% satisfaction on all sales orders.

You will lead multiple projects, align scope with production, review estimates, and manage documentation, submittals, and scheduling while driving cost control and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required. Civil Engineering preferred.
• 3+ years Project Management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage several large to small, complex projects simultaneously.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
• Ability to review and work from production schematics and engineering drawings.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience within the construction or precast concrete industry.

Responsibilities

• Being the voice of the customer in OI facilities.
• Manage multiple sales orders concurrently.
• Coordinate turnover/kick-off meeting at the point of sale to ensure information and paperwork are complete; review estimate and confirm values; begin scheduling with production.
• Be the point of contact from sales order assignment to keep the customer updated from production to on-site delivery.
• Provide direction to engineering, production planning, transportation, procurement and accounting.
• Prepare change order proposals promptly as requested.
• Monitor progress from sales to completion and proactively solve problems.
• Drive continuous improvement of processes and systems.
• Coordinate site visits and resolve issues from sale to completion, including change orders and scheduling.
• Identify and requisition special purchase items as required.
• Manage submittals/approvals with the customer.
• Communicate with Transportation on initial delivery needs.
• Work with other project managers and plant manager to minimize schedule conflicts.
