Job summary

Fleet Farm in Wisconsin is seeking an Auto Service Advisor to work with customers, determine vehicle needs, prepare estimates, create repair orders, and maintain an exceptional customer service experience.

Job duties include answering phones, scheduling service, learning Fleet Farm’s tire and parts lineup, promoting services, developing estimates, and assisting with basic maintenance tasks as needed. You will support events and loyalty programs while ensuring quality work for customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-focused role.
• Previous auto service experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• 16 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
• Demonstrated ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones promptly and courteously and announce service specials.
• Schedule service appointments for customers.
• Establish knowledge of Fleet Farm’s tires, parts and accessories.
• Promote and sell automotive products and services that meet customer needs.
• Develop service estimates by costing materials, supplies and labor and calculating payment.
• Occasionally perform basic maintenance duties (oil, fluids, batteries).
• Assist customers with questions and resolve issues while delivering superior service.
• Assist in event and promotion preparations.
• Promote loyalty programs, credit card and other initiatives.
• Ensure all services meet high quality standards and customer needs.
