Dollar General is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support a clean, customer-first store and help supervise staff, merchandise presentation, and deposits. You will lead cashier operations, handle refunds, and ensure policy compliance in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualificações

• Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as diagrams, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and assist customers, operate cash register and scanner to itemize purchases.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist Store Manager with scheduling employees, training, safety meetings and policy compliance.
• Manage merchandise flow: receiving, stocking, restocking and displaying.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by controlling damages, markdowns, scanning, paperwork and controls.
• Assist with planograms and ensure merchandise presentation as directed.
• Ensure cash control procedures; authorize refunds/overrides and deposit money.
• Assist with store management in Store Manager's absence.
