Job summary

Columbus McKinnon, a leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of intelligent motion solutions, seeks a Customer Compliance Specialist to create new customer accounts and maintain records to meet customer expectations. You will interact with customers, sales reps, and internal teams to ensure data integrity.

The role includes processing credits and returns, ensuring audit-ready documentation, and coordinating with various departments.

Qualifications

High School Diploma required or equivalent.
Associate degree preferred.
1–2+ years related experience or training; or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

Enters customer master data into all ERP systems.
Reviews customer master data regularly for consistency and accuracy.
Interfaces with plant personnel, customer service, sales, and credit dept on credit & return requests.
Enters CSCLs into ERP to define the situation and document details.
Handles access requests to Customer Portal and Compass.
Reviews, analyzes, and validates documentation to support audit compliance and record accuracy.
Processes returns, credits, and warranty claims per policies.
Learns the organization’s products, services, and policies through training programs.
Meets target KPIs to process customer data and credit turnaround times.
Monitors Outlook mailboxes and responds to inquiries within timelines.
Performs other duties as assigned.
