Job summary

Citizens Bank in Matawan, New Jersey is hiring a Teller to greet customers, demonstrate mobile app and ATM use, and process transactions, while delivering personalized advice and solutions that help customers reach financial goals.

You will follow all cash handling policies and local regulations, work 20 hours per week, including weekends/evenings as needed, and join a team committed to community service and ongoing development through training and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED.
• Minimum of 6 months experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments).
• Minimum of 1 year demonstrated customer experience, recommending and referring products and services to customers.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to enhance and develop a long-term customer relationship; ability to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues.
• Customer-centric to deliver exceptional service.
• Comfortable with using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals.
• Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in lobbies and assist with transactions.
• Demonstrate mobile app and ATM usage for simple transactions.
• Provide personalized advice and connect customers with Bankers for next steps.
• Educate customers on Citizens products and benefits while following policies and cash handling rules.
• Follow state and local laws and regulations.
