Job summary

The Michaels Stores in Fairmont, WV seeks a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing selling culture and drive strong sales while delivering an engaging customer experience. You will supervise front-end, service operations, and brand standards, coaching the team for consistent selling behaviors and KPI attainment.

Responsibilities include SOP adherence, POS accuracy, managing in-store programs, and supporting omni-channel services like BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading adherence to SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure execution of company policies and standards by the team.
• Model and coach customer experience and selling behaviors.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage for floor leadership and operations.
• Oversee in-store programs (Balloons, birthdays) and Loyalty Rewards enrollment.
• Drive omni-channel service including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Train and develop team members across departments.
• Support Asset Protection practices to reduce shrink.
