Job summary

Midway Car Rental is seeking a motivated customer service driven Associate in Torrance, CA. You'll apply focused sales techniques to determine customer needs and enhance their rental experience. Prepare documents, disclose rates and terms, and secure signatures.

You'll be knowledgeable about the fleet, respond to issues, maintain a professional appearance, and assist with daily revenue reporting. The role requires energy, weekend availability, and a passion for cars and people.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of customer service experience and a passion for automobiles.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with high energy.
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Background checks including Pre-Employment Drug Test, SSN Validation, and Criminal Record.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate exceptional customer service while applying focused sales techniques to determine customer needs to enhance their rental experience.
• Prepare rental and return documents accurately and completely, disclose rates and terms, and obtain signatures.
• Be knowledgeable on vehicle fleet and provide information on options and services offered.
• Assist customers by effectively responding to or resolving customer service issues.
• Maintain a professional appearance and office cleanliness, and perform duties to exceed customer expectations.
• Process the Daily Business Report and other revenue reporting functions in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
