Aston Carter is seeking an Order Management Specialist in Cypress, CA to receive and process customer orders and support timely fulfillment. You will manage backlog, allocate product, and maintain clear communication on order status.

Remote-leaning but initially onsite in Cypress, with flexibility during a temporary engagement. Applicants should have ERP and Salesforce experience and a strong focus on accuracy and customer service.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in order management, order entry, or manufacturing customer service.
• Experience in medical device, biotech, or pharma industries is ideal.
• Salesforce and ERP knowledge are preferred by many teams.
• ERP knowledge, Oracle preferred; other ERPs may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process customer purchase orders (via email, e-fax, etc.), ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with commercial terms.
• Enter orders into the system within required timeframes.
• Manage backlog and support product allocation as needed.
• Confirm receipt and entry of orders with customers.
• Create and maintain ship-to and bill-to records in the system.
• Proactively follow up with customers on incomplete orders, backorders, and expected ship dates.
• Determine scheduled ship dates based on customer requirements and manufacturing capacity.
• Run reports to track performance metrics such as on-time shipments and quality tracking.
• Investigate and resolve non-standard or complex orders by partnering with Sales, Accounting, and customers.
• Utilize CRM/reporting tools daily to manage order-related activities.
• Support additional tasks and projects as assigned.
