Job summary

Mountain West Bank is seeking a detail-oriented Consumer Loan Servicing Clerk to join our Loan Servicing team in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. The role supports consumer loan operations by booking, assembling, scanning, and verifying loan documents, and ensuring accurate servicing of consumer loans.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and customer-focused with strong confidentiality. This full-time, hourly position reports to the Consumer Loan Servicing Team Lead.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of banking policies and procedures.
• 1+ years of office experience.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine loan maintenance duties such as processing payments, setting up and changing AFTs, CIF changes, and HELOC checks.
• Process consumer loan payoffs and complete payoff checklists.
• Release collateral on paid off loans and book/change loan terms within 24 hours of receipt.
• Prepare loan documentation and ensure turnaround times are met.
• Maintain file reviews and follow up on required items; support branches and customers by phone or email.
