Job summary

Valiant Residential in Austin, Texas is seeking a Leasing Consultant to manage leasing, retention, and occupancy for our community, while delivering exceptional customer service to visitors, prospects, and residents. You will greet prospects, prepare move-in paperwork, and coordinate applications and screenings, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing and company policy.

A positive attitude, professional appearance, and ability to work evenings and weekends are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in working with the public and/or sales.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Fair Housing Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Two years of prior customer service experience.
• Neat, professional appearance and demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects and qualify by covering all criteria and using guest cards.
• Prepare move-in packages and lease paperwork.
• Record visits on reports and maintain guest cards per procedures.
• Inspect models and market-ready units and communicate service needs.
• Process applications, credit checks, and deposits per procedures.
• Monitor renewals and distribute renewal notices.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
• Input lease information into the Yardi system accurately and on time.
