Job summary

gfsapplegreen is seeking an Associate / Cashier (FT) for the Northeast AG Convenience Stores team. This position reports to the General Manager and fits a non-exempt, hourly framework.

The Cashier Associate will process customers and support sales growth while maintaining the store facility. Responsibilities include greeting customers, operating the register, stocking, cleaning, and adhering to safety and uniform policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Open availability to work weekends and holidays and varying shifts.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Ability to stay standing and walking for extended periods.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Lift and/or move up to 10 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Open availability to work weekends and holidays and varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist them in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Operate cash register, promote sales and ensure cash control.
• Clean, stock and maintain the checkout area and adjacent spaces.
• Clean, stock and maintain exterior areas including sidewalks and fuel islands.
• Participate in team efforts to achieve store goals.
• Perform duties safely and follow safety policies.
• Follow uniform and grooming standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
