Job summary

gfsapplegreen is seeking an Associate / Cashier (Full-Time) in a Northeast AG Convenience Stores location. The role focuses on friendly customer service, accurate cash handling, and maintaining clean stores and displays.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, operating the register, promoting sales, and ensuring inventory and cash control within guidelines. This position requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, and availability on weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Open availability to work weekends and holidays and varying shifts.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Ability to stay prolonged periods of time standing and walking throughout the retail space.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and assists them in a friendly and helpful manner; responds to inquiries within guidelines.
• Operates cash register, promotes sales and maintains cash control per company guidelines.
• Cleans, stocks and maintains the check out area, display spaces, and store fixtures.
• Cleans and stocks external areas such as sidewalks, drives, and pump islands; monitors fuel tanks.
• Participates in team efforts to achieve store goals.
• Adheres to safety policies and uniform standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
