Job summary

GFS Apple Green is seeking a part-time Associate/Cashier for our AG Convenience Stores - Northeast location. The role involves serving customers at the register, promoting sales, and maintaining cleanliness in both the internal and external areas of the store.

This position reports to the General Manager and is non-exempt, hourly. Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing transactions, inventory checks, stocking, and adherence to safety and uniform policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Open availability to work weekends and holidays and varying shifts.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods in the store.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with inquiries in a friendly manner.
• Operate cash register and manage cash control.
• Clean and stock checkout area and adjacent areas.
• Maintain store exterior and interior cleanliness and displays.
• Support team goals and store operations.
• Follow safety policies and uniform standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
