Job summary

gfsapplegreen is seeking an Associate / Cashier (FT) at our Northeast AG Convenience Stores location. The role supports store operations, greets customers, handles sales and cash transactions, and helps maintain a clean, safe store environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED (preferred), open availability for weekends/holidays, is at least 18, and can lift up to 50 lbs. This is an hourly non-exempt position with emphasis on customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Open availability to work weekends and holidays and varying shifts.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods in the retail space.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds frequently.
• Provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and assists them in a friendly, helpful manner.
• Operates cash register, promotes sales, and maintains cash control.
• Cleans and stocks checkout area, equipment, shelves, floors, and restrooms.
• Cleans and stocks external areas and drives, including fuel islands and displays.
• Team effort to achieve store and company goals.
• Follows safety policies and uniform standards.
