Job summary

gfsapplegreen is seeking a Cashier/Associate to greet customers, operate the cash register, promote sales, and maintain store facilities during shifts to support satisfaction and growth.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, open weekend/holiday availability, and at least 18 years old. Must provide exceptional customer service, work a flexible schedule, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Open availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and assists them in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Operates cash register and promotes sales while maintaining cash control.
• Cleans, stocks and maintains checkout area and store equipment.
• Maintains exterior areas and pumps and regularly checks fuel tanks.
• Participates in team efforts to achieve store goals.
• Performs duties safely and follows safety policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
