Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Texas to lead customer service excellence and regulate financial transactions in a retail setting. You will educate customers on product portfolios, handle cash, and ensure regulatory compliance while supporting store operations.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and 1+ year in sales or cash handling, with strong communication skills and reliable transportation. Travel within the district may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of experience with sales, customer service, and/or cash handling preferred.
• Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work autonomously.
• Must have own reliable transportation with valid driver's license and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Serve and educate customers on the product portfolio by presenting options to meet their needs.
• Escalate issues to the store manager or district leadership when unresolved.
• Answer telephone inquiries and respond to general questions or applications.
• Perform outbound customer sales, courtesy, and collection calls per regulations and procedures.
• Explain solutions professionally to ensure customers feel supported and valued.
• Interact with customers using active listening to confirm information and diffuse complaints.
• Handle and count currency, manage cash drawer, and prepare deposits as required.
• Balance batch receipts with sales reports at end of day and resolve discrepancies.
• Process transactions including loans, check cashing, and Net Spend per policy.
• Comply with federal/state regulations and company policies; complete trainings timely.
