Job summary

Atlantic Union Bank is seeking a Universal Banker to deliver best-in-class customer experience, drive sales and service solutions, and handle teller transactions. The role focuses on building lasting customer relationships by communicating the benefits of the bank's products and services.

The position emphasizes needs-based conversations, knowledge of bank offerings, and proficiency with digital channels, while supporting branch growth and collaboration across lines of business.

Qualifications

• Possess or be able to obtain an NMLS registration.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year banking or financial services experience preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year developing customer relationships, achieving sales/production goals, and building referral sources preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create customer loyalty through needs-based conversations to deliver a differentiated customer experience.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of bank products and services across lines of business.
• Educate customers on digital channels (Zoom, Online Banking, Mobile Banking, etc.).
• Drive proactive sales conversations through internal and external interactions and appointment setting.
• Acquire new customers through prospecting while deepening existing relationships.
• Close sales opportunities to contribute to personal and branch sales goals.
• Promote branch growth by developing and retaining customers; refer to other lines of business as needed.
• Perform teller functions and cash transactions; balance cash daily.
