Job summary

Madonna Rehabilitation Hospitals in Omaha, NE seeks an Operator I for Telecommunications, part-time hours (20 hrs/wk) with a Tue/Thu and alternating Friday 7am-3pm schedule. Responsibilities include operating the switchboard, assisting with mail room duties, and providing quality service to staff and patients.

The role requires strong communication, interpersonal skills, and familiarity with Cisco Call Manager; high school equivalency is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School equivalency.
• Telephone switchboard experience, preferably on a Cisco Call Manager system.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to elicit cooperation.
• Must have good grammar, spelling and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate the facility telecommunication switchboard to ensure quality service for staff and patients.
• Assist in mail room operations and postal processing including postage meters and mail forwarding.
• Maintain reports of switchboard activity and postage usage; log and summarize daily tasks.
• Operate and maintain fax, copier, and other office equipment; report repairs as needed.
• Communicate effectively with staff and departments; handle emergencies and announcements as required.
